TopSolid’Cam 2010 offers the possibility to change and replace the geometry which has been selected for the 2D operation. |

New lead In/out methods and Lead in/out prolongations with tangency or continuity controls. In case of tangential lead in/out, it is possible to define the value of the existing angle between the linear vector and the arc of a circle linking shape to be manufactured. It is also possible to define the method used for the prolongation of the tool path, either in pure tangency, or in continuance of the curvature. This avoids marking parts. |
Possibility to see the Tool path which is sent to the Machine-tool controller. In some particular cases (in debugging mode for example), it is very useful to see the tool path which is sent to the Machine-tool controller. |

Outside contouring must taking account of the direction of the wood fibber. Standard contouring has been modified to add some loops on each corner and specific settings allow to change feed rate when the tool is approaching the corner area. This can be usable in TopSolid’Cam to obtain perfect edges with the following configuration word: ZMI_ADD_LOOP_IN_CONTOURING 1 |
Following the example of drillings, when several contours milling of closed forms are realized successively, it is possible to execute them in a different order to minimize rapid movements. |

The objective of this function is to create a WCS which allows a face to be manufactured with the side of the tool and not with its bottom. TopSolid'Cam 2010 manually creates a WCS from another already defined WCS by rotating this one. |
Parallel Planes Technology, Radial Parallel Planes Technology and Constant Crest Machining are using Parallel Processing! Executing these operations on a Core2Duo or on a Quad Core computer is, about, 2 or 4 times faster than on a mono-core computer. |

It is now possible to limit the Parallel Plane Machining to the zone in touch with faces indicated by the user . |
It is possible to make a swarf operation on ruled, not developable surfaces by minimizing errors inevitably inherent to this technology (overcuts or undercuts) and by smoothing the tool path. This option is particularly interesting for customers who make impellers. |

Collision control with the finish in 5 axis drilling. This allows the modification of the clearance plane to avoid the collision. |
It is possible to define a profile as being the revolution envelope of the finished part to manufacture. The function which calculates the revolution envelope proposes 2 options, automatic or manual (from sections positioned by the operator). This offers a supplementary choice so that the operator can directly draw a CLOSED profile as being the result of the calculation of the envelope. In this case, it is the operator who gives the result. |

A new tab, called cutting conditions tab, has been added. This tab enables the presentation of the cutting conditions of all the machining operations under the shape of a table. Common parameters appear in the same columns and can be edited simultaneously or individually. The purpose of this table is to be able to modify the same parameter belonging to different operations, without being obliged to edit the operations themselves. |
